A stunning large fluorite from the Elmwood Mine in Carthage, Tennessee. This top quality specimen has nice sharp cubes of fluorite that are dusted with barite, dolomite and sphalerite. This combination of classic Elmwood minerals sits on a base of sphalerite that gives the entire piece nice visual depth.

A calcium fluoride crystal that occurs in hydrothermal veins. It has a wide range of colors, which depend on impurities, exposure to radiation and size of the color centers. Fluorite from certain localities exhibit a strong fluorescence, due to impurities in the crystal. The phenomenon fluorescence was actually named after fluorite. Metaphysically, fluorite boosts peacefulness & creates order out of chaos. It is a great tool for focus, clarity, learning, decision-making and clearing energy.
