Welcome to New Moon Minerals! We're Ashley and Jon, a dynamic husband and wife duo at the heart of this crystal-filled universe. Our journey began in the cheese-loving land of Wisconsin, where we both are from. Shortly after getting married, we embarked on an exciting adventure when Jon joined the military, which whisked us away to North Carolina. While Jon was busy with the Army, Ashley opened up a retail store, that we ran for 8 years. It was a bustling venture, but our love for crystals was about to ignite a spark that would change everything.
In 2019, we stumbled upon the mineral world and immediately fell in love. The allure was so strong that we decided to share this passion with others. Little did we know that a global pandemic was lurking around the corner, ready to test our resilience.
When the doors of our retail store had to close temporarily, we didn't let adversity dim our spirits. Instead, we transformed our cozy apartment above the shop into a stage for live sales. It was a became a place overflowing with crystals, laughter, and a touch of chaos.
We quickly discovered that our new crystal journey was more than just a business venture—it became a passion of ours. So, we embraced our inner adventurers, packed up our shenanigans, and charted a course toward something even more extraordinary. Today, we work out of our 4,000 square foot warehouse and the host weekly live sales that bring our passion for minerals straight to your screens.
At New Moon Minerals, authenticity is our guiding light. We responsibly source genuine stones, for we firmly believe in creating a positive impact in everything we do. But we're not just here to sell crystals; we're here to guide you on your journey and take the stress out of crystal shopping. We are always learning, so we can be the trusted source you need. Ashley recently passed her final exam for the Colored Stones course with the Gemological Institute of America. One of her big goals for 2024!
