A plagioclase feldspar that is prized for its iridescent optical effect known as labradorescence, which displays vivid flashes of color under light. It was discovered in 1770 in the Labrador peninsula in Canada, where it got its name. Metaphysically, Labradorite is known as the gemstone of magic. Its optical effect mirrors the energy of this stone. Despite its dark appearance, it displays flashes of stunning color when held to light, opening your 3rd eye to explore unknown realms while being protected by its light.
